Dear Gabriella and Sylvia,
Thank you so very much for your hospitality during
our recent trip to Italy. We loved our time in
Tuscany, as I am sure you often hear. Castello di
Caffagio was the icing on the cake.
We are sure we will return to Tuscany one day and
we will certainly recommend your accommodation
to any of our friends or family travelling your way.
A very big thank you again to Sylvia for sorting out
our Alitalia flights.....all went well in the end!

Dear Valentina,
it was a long trip back and it was good
to get home, but I want to tell you I miss all of you and Italy. It is like
a piece of me is missing. I hope to get back there in about a year. Of
course if I don't find a job in April maybe sooner. I'll come back and
answer emails and sweep floors. :)
Thank you again for the compassion and friendship all of you gave me while I
was there. My parents thank you too.
Tell your mom and dad Ciao and I miss them.

Hello from California. Wanted to thank you all for a most wonderful time this summer and have been spreading the word about your Castle.
Cherie and I have enjoyed the Olive oil we purchased and unfortunately lost a couple of bottle due to an accident in the kitchen. Calling to see what was the possibility of having some shipped to California. Is this possible? Please write and let me know. Hope all is well.. |

WE are back home safely and soundly after a wonderful visit to Italy. Our
stay at Castello di Cafaggio was certainly one of the highlights of the
trip. Dave and I hope to visit again before too long. Thank you for your
warm hospitality (we LOVE the olive oil). I trust all the plans for your
new home will continue to go well.

Chère Madame,
Philippe et moi vous remercions pour votre accueil chaleureux lors de notre visite au Château de Cafaggio ces 24 et 25 juillet. Nous avons bu avec grand plaisir le vin que vous nous aviez gentiment donné, accompagné d'un repas d'inspiration italienne...
L'huile d'olive a un parfum délicieux et il me tarde de terminer la bouteille précédemment entamée afin de commencer la vôtre. Tous les heureux destinataires des bouteilles que nous vous avions achetées sont ravis de leur cadeau !
Nous avons trouvé votre maison magnifique et avons été ravi de pouvoir la visiter en partie. C'est une adresse de charme que nous n'hésiterons pas à recommender.

Hi Gabriella, Valentina & Gianni,
You may remember that we stayed at your lovely ‘castello’ in early April.
After leaving your place, we travelled through Deiva Marina (Cinque Terra), Stresa, Zermatt, Paris then London. Deiva Marina was cold and wet (you may remember that it rained heavily the day we left). Stresa was delightful and the weather became fine while we were there. Zermatt was very expensive but we still had a good time there. When we arrived in Paris it was 29 degrees. We all had a great time, and completed our travels in early May.
I am writing to thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable time. We all agreed that our stay in Imprunetta was the highlight of our trip. The reasons for this were numerous, but after considering the quality of the accommodation, the hospitality of our hosts, the scenery, the location and the fun time we had driving and shopping, it all added up to being memorable.
Thank you once again, and by the way the supply of olive oil that you gave us has just finished. It was YUM!
We hope to see you again, when next in Italy.

Dear Gabriella and Enrico,
Thank you for your kind hospitality during our stay earlier in June. We
enjoyed our stay immensely and have taken back fond memories to Australia.
It was also lovely to have the opportunity to meet other travellers at the
Castle and exchange experiences. We left the castle at 7a.m. to be in Rome
airport by 12 noon. Plenty of time we thought, but, about 20 kms along the
autostrada, we were stopped for almost 2 hours as two trucks had collided
and turned over, totally blocking the southbound lanes. It was no wonder
the traffic had been at a standstill. Even with holdups we were able to
make the airport just before noon. Hopefully things will be easier next
time.
It is mid winter here and today is a beautiful sunny day and 19 degrees
which is in stark contrast to the 40 degrees we experienced in Tuscany.
Hopefully we will be able to stay with you next time we are in Italy.

Hi Gabriella and greetings from Kansas, USA!
Thank you again for the PERFECT honeymoon spot! (To remind you, Bob and I spent part of our honeymoon with you back in May--we stayed in the Melograno room, and you and I did laundry together the night of the birthday party--and enjoyed beautiful fireflies in the back!)
We just spent tonight's dinner enjoying both your Chianti and your delicious olive oil--and lamenting that our supply we brought home is dwindling. Tell me, are there any distributors at all or sources in the USA from whom we can purchase these products? I remember you saying that Robert deNiro demanded Caffagio olive oil, so thought there might be a distributor here.
We so enjoyed our whole experience with you, Gabriella....thank you once again and we are already plotting our return to Castello di Cafaggio!

Nous avons fait un très beau séjour l'été dernier au Castello di Cafaggio. Je voulais vous dire que l'endrot que vous nous aviez réserver au bord de la mer, était très bien. Évidemment pas aussi beau que chez vous mais très propre, confortable et c'est une belle petite ville. (Hotel Centrale à S. Vincenzo)
Je vous souhaite une très belle et généreuse année 2004 empreinte de sérénité, de paix et d'amour.
